Vice President & Manager of Portfolio Accounting
Leo Balambao, a partner at Osterweis, is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the firm’s portfolio accounting system. His role ensures our clients receive up-to-date accurate data and he loves researching solutions to make this process run smoothly.
Prior to joining Osterweis in 1999, Leo was a Fund Accountant at Coast Asset Management, a fixed income hedge fund manager. Before that, he worked at Cantor Fitzgerald as an Institutional Stock Brokerage Clerk.
Leo graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Sociology. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys singing in the GAPA Men’s Chorus, sampling the diverse cuisines the Bay Area has to offer, and attending the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and American Bach Soloists concerts.
