Dorothy Militar
Vice President & Director of Operations
Dorothy Militar is a partner at Osterweis and oversees the firm’s day-to-day operational activities, ensuring seamless execution of processes that support portfolio management, client servicing, compliance, and regulatory requirements. She is passionate about this work, as it requires a high level of precision and offers an environment well suited to continual innovation and process improvement.
Prior to joining Osterweis in 2014, Dorothy was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan. Before that, she held several positions over a 24-year period at AXA Rosenberg, LLC, most recently Director of Global Operations.
Dorothy graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a B.A. in French Literature. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the International House at U.C. Berkeley. Outside of work, she plays competitive racquetball, participates in book clubs, and is an avid photographer.
