Vice President & Director of Information Technology
Bill Ginchereau has devoted 20 years of his career to the implementation of technology for investing firms. Before joining Osterweis Capital Management in 1998, Mr. Ginchereau was the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology at the Oppenheimer Funds. Mr. Ginchereau also served as the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology at the Rochester Funds, where he provided technology solutions through the firm’s rapid growth until it joined the portfolio of the Oppenheimer Funds in 1995.
From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Ginchereau shared his expertise in business technology as a contributing writer and researcher for the well known industry newsweekly InfoWorld. At InfoWorld, he served as Senior Analyst in the publication’s test labs and authored articles on emerging technologies and business strategies for IT professionals.
Mr. Ginchereau attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he studied physics and computer science. He is a principal of the firm and oversees the Information Technology group.
